  1. Great product for a deaf and frail person

I bought this cordless phone for my Mum and she just loves it. She can carry it around with her all day and can hear people very easily and have much better conversations than previously. she says "I can actually hear you now". It's so easy to use and highly recommended.

  2. Great phone for hearing impaired

Posted by Unknown on 1st Feb 2016

We purchased this phone for my wife's father, who is over 90% hearing impaired. We had previously tried Uniden phones for him, but he was often frustrated with those model as it made conversations difficult for him to understand. The Boost mode on this phone is very loud - certainly one of the better phone options out there for people with hearing difficulties. Not only is the receiver volume great, but it also seems to amplify the microphone. When you talk to someone who is using this phone, their speech definitely appears amplified.

Only some minor aspects I didn't like:
    - The base station has a very very loud ring, which is great, but it only rings the base station when the phone isn't plugged into it.
    - The key-press announcements are a little awkward to understand for hearing impaired people, but luckily they can be turned off.

Overall I can highly recommend this phone to anyone with a hearing disability.
